Omschrijving
Hubertushuis met achterterrein. Voormalig tehuis voor alleenstaande ouders en kinderen, bestaande uit nieuwbouw en twee hiermee verbonden verbouwde panden. Links aan de straat de nieuwbouw met in hoogte en diepte verspringende, transparante kleurrijke gevels, terugliggende ingang en betonnen plint voorzien van gekleurde tegels in een spiegelende omlijsting. Rechts hiervan twee verbouwde panden met wit gepleisterde gevels op natuurstenen plint en geornamenteerde vensteromlijstingen, het linker pand met natuurstenen trap en balkon, het rechter pand met erker. De nieuwbouw heeft aan de achterzijde een lager bouwdeel dat toegang geeft tot het achterterrein. Dit achterterrein is door de relatie met de bebouwing en de in lijn hiermee ontworpen inrichting een wezenlijk onderdeel van het geheel. Het is geplaveid met stoeptegels en ingericht met lage (half)ronde gemetselde bakken voor beplanting en een boom, ronde verhogingen voor de aanlanding van twee trappen vanaf de verdieping van het lagere bouwdeel, met gebogen lijnen vormgegeven niveauverschillen en ronde betonnen zitelementen.

Description
Hubertushuis with rear site. Former home for single parents and children, consisting of new construction and two remodelled buildings connected with it. On the left of the street the new construction with facades that are set back in height and depth, transparent and colourful, recessed entrance and concrete plinth provided with coloured tiles in a mirrored frame. To the right of this two remodelled buildings with whitewashed facades on natural stone plinth and ornamented window surrounds, the left building with natural stone steps and balcony, the right building with bay window. The new construction has on the rear side a lower building section which provides access to the rear site. This rear site, through its relationship with the built development and the design of its facilities in line with it, is an essential part of the whole. It is paved with floor tiles and furnished with low semicircular brick beds for planting and a tree, round elevations for the landing of two stairs from the upper floor of the lower building section, level differences shaped with curved lines and round concrete seating elements.
