Omschrijving
Voormalig rijkskantoorgebouw gelegen aan de buitenhaven van Delfzijl, bestaande uit een hoogbouw van zes bouwlagen en laagbouw van één bouwlaag. Loopbrug met trap aan de havenzijde. Noodzetel met commandopost in de kelder onder de laagbouw. In het ontwerp geïntegreerde betonnen kunstwerken op de vier kopse gevels. Stalen pergola, die naar de hoofdingang in de hoogbouw leidt. Terreininrichting en tuinaanleg waaronder de bestrating, de drie vlaggenmasten en de perken met beplanting aan de kopse zijde van de laagbouw. Terzijde van de hoofdingang een vrijstaand betonnen beeld dat bij het ontwerp van de kunstwerken aan de gevels hoort.

Description
Former government office building located at the outer harbour of Delfzijl, consisting of a high-rise of six storeys and a low-rise of one storey. Footbridge with stairs on the harbour side. Emergency seat with command post in the cellar beneath the low-rise. Concrete artworks integrated in the design on the four end gables. Steel pergola, which leads to the main entrance in the high-rise. Site development and garden design including the paving, the three flagpoles and the beds with planting on the end side of the low-rise. Beside the main entrance a free-standing concrete sculpture which forms part of the design of the artworks on the facades.
