Onderdeel 26. Speelhuisje Ixenieta.
SPEELHUISJE ÍXIENTIETA' behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Soestdijk. Binnen de omgrachting van het sportcomplex staat een bakstenen speelhuisje geschonken door de bevolking van de Nederlands West-Indische eilanden in 1939 (zie gevelsteen) ter gelegenheid van de geboorte van prinses Beatrix. Later werd dit huisje 'Ixenieta' gedoopt. Deze naam verwijst naar de (versleutelde) namen van de prinsessen. Het was bedoeld voor de jeugdige prinsessen, die daar konden spelen terwijl de volwassenen zich vermaakten met de sportbeoefening. Het gebouwtje bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met shingles gedekt schilddak. Het interieur is ingericht met Hindeloper huisraad.

Component 26. Play House Ixenieta.
PLAY HOUSE 'IXENIETA' belonging to the historic country estate Soestdijk. Within the moat of the sports complex stands a brick play house donated by the population of the Dutch West Indian islands in 1939 (see façade stone) on the occasion of the birth of Princess Beatrix. Later this little house was named 'Ixenieta'. This name refers to the (encoded) names of the princesses. It was intended for the young princesses, who could play there while the adults enjoyed sporting activities. The little building consists of one storey beneath a hipped roof covered with shingles. The interior is furnished with Hindeloper household items.
