Onderdeel 16. Tuinvazen.
TUINVAZEN behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Soestdijk. Vier tuinvazen, staande aan de voorzijde van paleis Soestdijk. Twee tuinvazen dateren van rond 1700 en zijn vervaardigd van zandsteen. De onderzijde van de vaas is voorzien van lobben. De deksel is bewerkt met diverse soorten bladmotieven, druiven en een bekroning in de vorm van een granaatappel. De vazen zijn voorzien van figurale voorstellingen in reliëf. De westelijk geplaatste vaas heeft een bachanale voorstelling met cupido's en bachanten op en rond een triomfwagen. De oostelijk geplaatste vaas heeft een voorstelling van de godin Venus op een triomfwagen, getrokken door cupido's. Op de strijdwagen staat een pijlen schietende cupido. De andere twee tuinvazen zijn vervaardigd uit marmer en dateren uit de negentiende eeuw. Deze zijn onbewerkt en geplaatst op een stenen, gecementeerde voet.

Component 16. Garden Vases.
GARDEN VASES belonging to the historic country estate Soestdijk. Four garden vases, standing at the front of Soestdijk Palace. Two garden vases date from around 1700 and are made of sandstone. The underside of the vase is provided with lobes. The lid is decorated with various types of leaf motifs, grapes and a finial in the form of a pomegranate. The vases are provided with figurative representations in relief. The westerly placed vase has a bacchanalian representation with cupids and bacchantes on and around a triumphal chariot. The easterly placed vase has a representation of the goddess Venus on a triumphal chariot, drawn by cupids. On the chariot stands an arrow-shooting cupid. The other two garden vases are made of marble and date from the nineteenth century. These are unworked and placed on a stone, cemented base.
