Onderdeel 14. Tuinornament.
TUINORNAMENT behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Soestdijk. Tuinornament, omstreeks 1890 vervaardig en geplaatst ten noorden van de recent gebouwde kassen, bij één van de vijvers. De in cementrustieke stijl vervaardigde folly heeft de vorm van een afgezaagd stuk boomstam van een halve meter hoog.
Waardering
TUINORNAMENT van algemeen belang vanwege:
- de architectuurhistorische waarden als voorbeeld van een tuinornament in een zeldzame vormgeving alsmede vanwege het materiaalgebruik;
- de ensemblewaarde door de functioneel-ruimtelijke samenhang met decoratieve betekenis tussen de verschillende onderdelen van de buitenplaats.

GARDEN ORNAMENT belonging to the historical country estate Soestdijk. Garden ornament, manufactured around 1890 and placed to the north of the recently built greenhouses, by one of the ponds. The folly manufactured in cement rustic style has the form of a sawn-off piece of tree trunk half a metre high.

- the architectural-historical values as an example of a garden ornament in a rare form design as well as because of the material use;
- the ensemble value through the functional-spatial coherence with decorative significance between the different components of the country estate.
