Onderdeel 5. Parkwachterswoning.
PARKWACHTERWONING behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Soestdijk. Bij een zij-ingang van het park staat een bakstenen woonhuis gebouwd in chaletstijl in 1895. Verschillende kleuren baksteen in de ontlastingsbogen (siermetselwerk in gele steen) en tegelwerk in de boogvelden. Het op L-vormige grondslag opgetrokken pand met gecementeerde plint heeft één bouwlaag onder met pannen gedekte, haaks op elkaar staande zadeldaken met overstek en makelaar, gesneden houten schoren deels met spitsboogvorm. De voorgevel, gericht naar de weg die het park invoert, heeft een excentrisch geplaatste toegangsdeur met bovenlicht. Rechts daarvan een topgevel. In de gevels zijn T-vensters met kleine roedenverdeling in het bovenlicht en in het onderste deel van het schuifraam. De vensters zijn voorzien van smalle luiken. Dakkapel aan de straatzijde. Tegen de achtergevel is een nieuwe aanbouw geplaatst. Het ingangshek naast de woning wordt geflankeerd door zware gietijzeren pijlers met rustica en een bol als bekroning.

Component 5. Park Keeper's Lodge.
PARK KEEPER'S LODGE belonging to the historical country estate Soestdijk. At a side entrance to the park stands a brick residential house built in chalet style in 1895. Various colours of brick in the relieving arches (decorative brickwork in yellow stone) and tilework in the arch spandrels. The building constructed on an L-shaped ground plan with cemented plinth has one storey under gabled roofs covered with tiles, standing at right angles to each other with overhang and molding, cut wooden braces partly with pointed arch form. The front elevation, facing the road that enters the park, has an eccentrically placed entrance door with fanlight. To the right of it a spout gable. In the elevations are T-windows with small glazing bars in the fanlight and in the lower part of the sash window. The windows are provided with narrow shutters. Roof dormer on the street side. A new extension is placed against the rear elevation. The entrance gate next to the house is flanked by heavy cast iron piers with rustication and a sphere as coping.
