Onderdeel 24. Intendantwoning met Schuurtje.
INTENDANTWONING MET SCHUURTJE behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Soestdijk. Aan de straatweg staat een bakstenen woning in neoclassicistische stijl gebouwd in 1863 (zie gevelsteen) naar ontwerp van G. Key. Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken pand bestaat uit twee bouwlagen onder een met leien gedekt afgeplat schilddak met 4 gemetselde schoorstenen op de hoeken. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft een middenrisaliet met (uitgebouwde kamer) halfronde erker en een balkon en wordt afgesloten door een driehoekig fronton waarvan het timpaan versierd is met bladmotieven. Centraal in de erker dubbele tuindeur geflankeerd door zesruitsvenster met persiennes, het balkon op de verdieping heeft een ijzeren balustrade en de vensterpartij is versierd met een wenkbrauw. Aan weerszijden van het middenrisaliet bevinden zich twee traveeën met zesruitsvensters op de begane grond en vierruitsvensters op de verdieping. Alle vensters zijn voorzien van persiennes. De ingang is aan de achterzijde gelegen. Van daar komt men in een T-vormige gang. De grootste kamers liggen aan de straatzijde. Restauratie in 1984. Het schuurtje bevindt zich aan de achterzijde van het pand en is opgetrokken uit baksteen met een zadeldak met pannen tussen topgevels en karakteristieke schoorsteen. In de gevels een tweetal deuren en enkele vensters.

Component 24. Intendant's Dwelling with Shed.
INTENDANT'S DWELLING WITH SHED belonging to the historic country estate Soestdijk. On the street frontage stands a brick dwelling in neoclassical style built in 1863 (see façade stone) after a design by G. Key. The building erected on a rectangular plan consists of two storeys beneath a hipped roof covered with slate and levelled off with 4 mortared chimneys at the corners. The symmetrically arranged front facade has a central risalit with a semicircular bay (built-out room) and a balcony and is terminated by a triangular pediment the tympanum of which is decorated with leaf motifs. Central in the bay are double French doors flanked by a six-pane window with shutters, the balcony on the upper storey has an iron balustrade and the window section is decorated with an eyebrow. On either side of the central risalit are two bays with six-pane windows on the ground floor and four-pane windows on the upper storey. All windows are provided with shutters. The entrance is situated on the rear side. From there one enters a T-shaped corridor. The largest rooms are situated on the street side. Restoration in 1984. The shed is situated on the rear side of the building and is constructed of brick with a gabled roof with tiles between stepped gables and a characteristic chimney. In the facades a pair of doors and several windows.
