Omschrijving
BEDRIJFSGEBOUW MET POORT (onderdeel 9). Aan de noordzijde van de cour in
mergel opgetrokken bedrijfsgebouw op langwerpig rechthoekige grondslag onder
een naar het noorden aflopend met gemêleerde Oudhollandse pannen gedekt
lessenaarsdak. Samen met de ter linker zijde gesitueerde poort naar het
achtererf beslaat het bedrijfsgebouw de gehele noordzijde van de cour. Aan
de voor(cour-)zijde van het bedrijfsgebouw 5 op regelmatige afstand van
elkaar geplaatst enkele deuren met hardstenen onderdorpel onder rondboognis:
de nissen van de 3 aan de linkerzijde gelegen deuren liggen enigszins terug.
Tussen de tweede en derde deur, van links gerekend, in de gevel een wapen in
reliëf (onleesbaar) met het jaartal 1726. Ook in een mergelblok aan de
achterzijde is het jaartal 1726 aangebracht. Dit bedrijfsgebouw heeft
(ondermeer) als paardenstal dienst gedaan. De hoge dubbele houten poort
links hiervan met winket wordt door een smal met Oudhollandse pannen gedekt
zadeldak afgesloten.
Waardering
Het BEDRIJFSGEBOUW MET POORT van de historische buitenplaats 't Gasthuis is
in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
BUSINESS BUILDING WITH GATE (component 9). On the north side of the courtyard in marl built business building on an oblong rectangular ground plan under a sloping toward the north with mixed Old Dutch tiles covered lean-to roof. Together with the gate to the rear courtyard situated on the left side, the business building covers the entire north side of the courtyard. On the fore (courtyard) side of the business building 5 doors placed at regular intervals with sandstone sill under a round arch niche: the niches of the 3 doors located on the left side recede somewhat. Between the second and third door, counted from the left, in the gable a coat of arms in relief (illegible) with the date 1726. Also in a marl block on the rear side the date 1726 is inscribed. This business building served (among other things) as a horse stable. The tall double wooden gate to the left of this with a wicket gate is closed off by a narrow gabled roof covered with Old Dutch tiles.
