Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS (onderdeel 6). Deels witgekalkt koetshuis in baksteen en mergel
van één verdieping waarboven kap op rechthoekige grondslag onder met
Oud-Hollandse pannen (gemêleerd) gedekt zadeldak met overstek. Het koetshuis
is lager opgetrokken en ook iets ondieper dan het hoofdgebouw, dat
aansluitend in het verlengde ervan is gebouwd. Het koetshuis herbergde
waarschijnlijk van oorsprong het huis van de pachter, zoals genoemd in de
beschrijving van het goed in 1727, en is van oorsprong waarschijnlijk van
oudere datum dan het hoofdgebouw. Het koetshuis heeft nu twee bouwlagen en
een vliering. Aan de cour-zijde oorspronkelijk aan de rechterzijde twee
dubbele poortdeuren onder segmentboogvormig bovenlicht. Het bovenlicht is
thans dicht gezet en in de openingen van de voormalige deuren zijn nieuwe
vensters aangebracht: alleen de hardstenen omlijstingen van de deuren met
bovenlichten resteren. Links hiervan een meerruits-venster. Links van dit
venster de hardstenen omlijsting van een voormalige dubbele deur (als boven)
met links een toegangsdeur. Aan de linker en rechter zijde op de verdieping
twee meerruits-vensters. De naar het park gerichte zijde van het koetshuis
heeft vier vensters en een deur. In het interieur een achttiende-eeuwse
bakstenen schouw in de noordwest-hoek, bestaande uit een haard met halfronde
opening in een rookvang van mergel die zich trapsgewijs naar het
schoorsteenkanaal verjongt.

Het KOETSHUIS is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
CARRIAGE HOUSE (component 6). Partly whitewashed carriage house in brickwork and marl of one storey with roof structure on a rectangular ground plan under a gabled roof covered with Old Dutch tiles (mixed). The carriage house is built lower and also somewhat shallower than the main building, which is constructed adjoining in its line. The carriage house originally probably housed the home of the tenant farmer, as named in the description of the property in 1727, and is originally probably of older date than the main building. The carriage house now has two storeys and an attic. On the courtyard side originally on the right side two double carriage doors under a segmental arch fanlight. The fanlight is now blocked and in the openings of the former doors new windows have been installed: only the sandstone surrounds of the doors with fanlights remain. To the left of this a multi-pane window. To the left of this window the sandstone surround of a former double door (as above) with on the left an access door. On the left and right side on the storey two multi-pane windows. The side of the carriage house facing the park has four windows and a door. In the interior an eighteenth-century brick chimney stack in the northwest corner, consisting of a fireplace with semi-circular opening in a flue of marl which tapers gradually toward the chimney shaft.
