Inleiding
De ENTREE met MUUR is onderdeel van het recreatiecomplex De Lichtenberg. De entree gelegen aan de zuidzijde van het recreatiecomplex, is in 1956 voltooid naar ontwerp van architect P.H. Weegels.
Omschrijving
De ENTREE bestaat uit een opening in de MUUR die is opgetrokken uit Nivelsteiner breuksteen. De entree wordt gemarkeerd door twee (natuurstenen) pijlers met daartussen een smeedijzeren hek. De pijlers hebben een vierkante grondslag en een overstekende piramidevormige afdekking.

De ENTREE met MUUR is van algemeen belang

The ENTRANCE with WALL is part of the recreation complex De Lichtenberg. The entrance, located on the south side of the recreation complex, was completed in 1956 to the design of architect P.H. Weegels.
Description
The ENTRANCE consists of an opening in the WALL which is constructed of Nivelstein rubble stone. The entrance is marked by two (natural stone) piers with a wrought-iron gate between them. The piers have a square ground plan and an overhanging pyramidal cap.
