Inleiding
PARKAANLEG. Het aan de achterzijde villa Blanca van het huis gelegen landgoed sluit op deze voortuin aan en is van de hand van architect Copijn uit Groenekan (Utrecht). Sinds ca. 1990 wordt dit landgoed als golfterrein gebruikt door de Golfclub Goirle.
Omschrijving
Het aan de achterzijde op de tuin aansluitende landgoed kent elementen van de Engelse en Franse tuinstijlen. Centraal en loodrecht op het landhuis gelegen, bevindt zich een rechte laan temidden van een bosplantsoen. De laan is ingeplant met Hollandse eik. Aan de noordwestzijde bevat het landgoed grasvelden omzoomd met eikenbomen. Aan de zuidwestkant, in het geaccidenteerde gedeelte, bevindt zich een grote vijver.
Waardering
De parkaanleg is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociaaleconomische ontwikkeling van de regio rond Tilburg. Het is van belang vanwege de plaatse in het oeuvre van tuinarchitect Lejeune. Het heeft ensemblewaarden vanwege de bijzondere betekenis door de situering verbonden met de ontwikkeling van stad en het dorp en tevens vanwege de samenhang tussen huis, tuin en landgoed.
