De KRAANBAAN, gebouwd in 1931, bestaat uit een stalen vakwerkconstructie (met wandstaven en langsliggers) en rust op vier betonnen pijlers. De baan overspant de rivieruiterwaarden tussen de Waalbandijk en de Waal.
