Omschrijving complexonderdeel 26: Langgerekte vrijstaande 19de-eeuwse bepleisterde bakstenen WESTELIJKE BROEIBAK of koude bak, die ongeveer even groot is als de meest noordelijke bak nabij de Palmenkas. De lange westmuur is de hoogste muur, de oostmuur steekt slechts ±2 koppen boven het maaiveld uit. Zowel de westgevel als de beide schuin aflopende zijgevels hebben een sponning waarin tezamen met zware T-ijzers de 12 ramen van grenen frames met verticaal geplaatste roeden van T-ijzers geplaatst worden en zuid tegengehouden worden door een in het metselwerk aangebrachte zware ijzeren opstaande lip. In de bak is schoonmetselwerk voorzien van een snijvoeg zichtbaar.
WAARDERING
De WESTELIJKE BROEIBAK is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang

Description
Description complex component 26: Elongated freestanding 19th-century rendered brick WESTERN FORCING FRAME or cold frame, which is approximately the same size as the most northerly frame near the Palm House. The long west wall is the highest wall, the east wall projects only approximately 2 brick heights above ground level. Both the west gable and both sloping side gables have a rebate in which, together with heavy T-irons, the 12 panes of pine frames with vertically placed T-iron rods are fitted and held on the south side by a heavy iron projecting lip set in the masonry. In the frame visible ashlar masonry with struck joint is provided.
VALUATION
The WESTERN FORCING FRAME is of general cultural-historical importance
