Omschrijving
Omschrijving complexonderdeel 24: Rode 19de-eeuwse, waalformaat-bakstenen MUUR- of VIJGENKAS op een langgerekt rechthoekig grondplan met 8 ramen van grenen frames, boven en onder voorzien van ijzeren handvatten en binnen de frames van verticale T-ijzer roede met ruiten, 5 ruiten breed en 9 hoog. De zuidgevel is het laagst en de hoge noordgevel is tevens onderdeel van de moestuinmuur. Dit deel van de moestuinmuur heeft geen pijlers, is 1,5 steens breed, mogelijk voorzien van een spouw en afgedekt door een naar achter hellende afdekking met zink. De kopgevels lopen af naar de zuidgevel die plus minus 12 lagen boven het maaiveld uitsteekt. De rollen op de gevels eindigen in een hardstenen hoekstuk en onder de rollen zijn op regelmatige afstand 3 gietijzeren rozetten van muurankers zichtbaar. De oostgevel bevat de ingang, bestaande uit een grijs grenen kozijn op stenen neuten en dorpel met een in een spits toelopende opgeklampte deur aan gesmede hengen en duimen, van brede grenen staande kraaldelen, grijs geschilderd, aan de binnenzijde voorzien van brede dwars aangebrachte delen. De deur heeft een staande gietijzeren deurkruk met lofwerk. De deur is een halve steen van de moestuinmuur geplaatst en de helling van de spits in de deur volgt de daklijn van de gevel. Boven de deur is de rol niet half steens maar half steens met een klezoor. De kas bestaat uit twee afdelingen en heeft tegen de moestuinmuur een tree lager dan het maaiveld een looppad naast de bakken. De bakken hebben een keermuur van ±10 lagen rode, waal formaat, baksteen. De bepleisterde bakstenen steens scheidingsmuur tussen de twee afdelingen is in het midden aangebracht en voorzien van een gelijke deur als de toegang. Aan de achterzijde van de noordgevel zijn over de volle lengte van de kas, op regelmatige afstand de 5 beugels met reling, vervaardigd van ijzeren pijp met getapte verbindingen van de Galerij van de kas nog aanwezig.

De MUUR- of VIJGENKAS is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang

Description
Description of complex component 24: Red 19th-century, waal-format brick WALL or FIG HOUSE on an elongated rectangular plan with 8 windows of wooden frames, above and below fitted with iron handles and within the frames of vertical T-iron glazing bars with panes, 5 panes wide and 9 high. The southern elevation is the lowest and the high northern elevation is at the same time part of the vegetable garden wall. This part of the vegetable garden wall has no pilasters, is 1.5 bricks wide, possibly fitted with a cavity and covered by a sloping towards the rear covering with zinc. The end elevations slope down towards the southern elevation which projects approximately 12 courses above ground level. The mouldings on the elevations end in a sandstone corner piece and below the mouldings 3 cast iron roses of wall anchors are visible at regular intervals. The eastern elevation contains the entrance, consisting of a grey wooden frame on stone corbels and sill with a door clipped in a pointed apex on forged hinges and thumbs, of broad wooden standing bead parts, painted grey, fitted on the inside with broad transversely applied parts. The door has a standing cast iron door handle with ornamental work. The door is placed half a brick from the vegetable garden wall and the slope of the point in the door follows the roof line of the elevation. Above the door the moulding is not half-brick but half-brick with a flashing. The house consists of two sections and has against the vegetable garden wall a step lower than ground level a walkway beside the bins. The bins have a retaining wall of approximately 10 courses of red, waal-format brick. The rendered brick solid partition wall between the two sections is placed in the centre and fitted with a similar door as the entrance. On the rear side of the northern elevation are over the full length of the house, at regular intervals the 5 brackets with railing, manufactured of iron pipe with threaded connections of the Gallery of the house still present.
