Omschrijving onderdeel 6:
RENTMEESTERSWONING. Aan de IJsseldijk staand chaletachtig huis, daterend van kort na het midden van de 19de eeuw, gebouwd als rentmeesterswoning behorende bij De Haere. Wellicht betreft het pand de verbouwing van een ouder pand: op het Kadastraal Minuutplan uit 1822 staat op dezelfde plek het grondplan van een woning aangegeven. Het pand is op rechthoekige grondslag in het verlengde van de dijkas tegen de dijk opgetrokken en wordt overkapt door een flauw zadeldak met overstek. De muren zijn gepleisterd en vertonen en bakstenen hoekkettingen. In de naar de dijk gekeerde gevel op de verdieping een ingebouwde, flauw getoogde loggia met gebosseerde bakstenen pilasters, waarop de imposten die de boog dragen. Houten balusterhek als afsluiting van de loggia. Het huis wordt gedekt door een overstekend zadeldak. In de korte noordgevel beganegronds een dubbel openslaand meerrruitsvenster met ornamenteel lijstwerk. Op het snijpunt van de roeden van dit venster een kleine ruitvormige uitsparing waarin een rood venster. Op de verdieping een groot 4-ruitsvenster met aan weerszijden een klein 4-ruitsvenster, eveneens omgeven door lijstwerk. Aan de lange dijkzijde beganegronds twee meerruits vensters, op de verdieping voornoemde loggia. In de terugliggende gevel in de loggia twee 4-ruitsvensters. In de zuidgevel beganegronds een groot meerruits schuifvenster met roedenverdeling als van het venster in de noordgevel. Op de verdieping een dubbel openslaand 6-ruitsvenster.

STEWARD'S HOUSE. A chalet-like house standing on the IJsseldijk, dating from shortly after the middle of the 19th century, built as a steward's house belonging to De Haere. It is possibly the conversion of an older building: on the Cadastral Map from 1822 the ground plan of a dwelling is indicated in the same location. The building is erected on a rectangular ground plan in line with the dike embankment against the dike and is covered by a shallow gabled roof with overhang. The walls are plastered and display brick corner chains. In the facade facing the dike on the upper storey a built-in, slightly arched loggia with rusticated brick pilasters, on which the impost blocks that carry the arch. Wooden balusters as closure of the loggia. The house is covered by an overhanging gabled roof. In the short north facade ground floor a double opening multi-pane window with ornamental moulding. At the intersection of the glazing bars of this window a small diamond-shaped opening in which a red window.
