Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 23: CASCADE.
CASCADE in beek langs Beekhuizenseweg. Cascade in roodbakstenen opbouw waarop een betonnen bak. Het water van de Beekhuizense beek stroomt door de ca. 1 meter brede bak waarna het naar beneden valt. Aan de voet van de keermuren alsmede in de bak liggen stenen. De in oorsprong 19de-eeuwse cascade werd in de eerste decennia van de 20ste eeuw opgeknapt en vereenvoudigd.
Waardering
De CASCADE in beek langs Beekhuizenseweg is van algemeen belang:

Description component 23: CASCADE.
CASCADE in stream along Beekhuizenseweg. Cascade in red brick construction on which a concrete trough. The water of the Beekhuizense stream flows through the approximately 1 metre wide trough after which it falls downward. At the base of the retaining walls as well as in the trough there are stones. The originally 19th-century cascade was refurbished and simplified in the first decades of the 20th century.

The CASCADE in stream along Beekhuizenseweg is of general importance:
