Omschrijving onderdeel 6: IJSKELDER BEEKHUIZEN.
Op Beekhuizen staat een geheel in bakstenen opgetrokken IJSKELDER, circa 1844, afgesloten door een deur van recente datum. Aan weerszijden van de deur twee taps toelopende bakstenen keermuren. De ijskelder bestaat uit een gangetje dat uitkomt op een verdiept gelegen koepelvormige kelder. Onder de gang ligt een tweede kelder.
Waardering
De IJSKELDER behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Biljoen is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de functionele vormgeving;
- als karakteristiek en functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats;

Description of component 6: ICE CELLAR BEEKHUIZEN.
On Beekhuizen stands an ICE CELLAR constructed entirely of brick, circa 1844, closed by a door of recent date. On either side of the door two tapered brick retaining walls. The ice cellar consists of a small corridor opening onto a sunken dome-shaped cellar. Beneath the corridor lies a second cellar.
