HEK (5) van 'De Hartenkamp', behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Backershagen. Toegangshek uit 1910 bestaande uit een dubbel ijzeren hek met lantaarns. Het hek herinnert aan de verkaveling van de gronden van Backershagen en de stichting van de nieuwe buitenplaats De Hartenkamp (waarvan het hoofdgebouw overigens nooit is gerealiseerd en het terrein in 1954 door de gemeente Wassenaar werd verworven).
Waardering
Het HEK van De Hartenkamp is van algemeen cultuur-, architectuur- en tuinhistorisch belang:

GATE (5) of 'De Hartenkamp', belonging to the historic country estate Backershagen. Entrance gate from 1910 consisting of a double iron gate with lanterns. The gate commemorates the subdivision of the grounds of Backershagen and the establishment of the new country estate De Hartenkamp (of which the main building was never in fact realized and the grounds were acquired by the municipality of Wassenaar in 1954).
