Inleiding
TRANSFORMATORGEBOUW annex KIOSK deel uitmakend van het sluizencomplex "Parksluizen", zuidwestelijk gelegen van de Grote Parksluis.
Omschrijving
Het transformatorgebouw annex kiosk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een vierkante plattegrond met een halfronde, lagere uitbouw (kiosk) aan de op verdiepingsniveau liggende de zuidgevel. Het gebouw omvat twee bouwlagen onder een laag schilddak. Op het zuidelijke dakschild bevindt zich de gemetselde schoorsteen. De westgevel bevat een dubbele stalen deur. De kiosk aan de zuidgevel is rondom geheel voorzien van vensters. Rechts hiervan bevindt zich een houten deur met rechthoekig venster met kleine vierkante roedenverdeling binnen een afgeronde houten deurlijst met granieten aanzetstukken. De oostgevel bevat op de begane grond (ter hoogte van de sluis) een stalen deur en aan weerszijden hiervan kleine rechthoekige ventilatieroosters. De noordgevel is blind.

Introduction
TRANSFORMER BUILDING annex KIOSK forming part of the sluice complex "Parksluizen", located to the southwest of the Grote Parksluis.
Description
The transformer building annex kiosk is constructed in red brick on a square floor plan with a semicircular, lower extension (kiosk) on the south facade at storey level. The building comprises two storeys under a low hipped roof. On the southern roof slope is the brick chimney. The west facade contains a double steel door. The kiosk on the south facade is entirely fitted with windows all around. To the right of it is a wooden door with rectangular window with small square glazing bars within a rounded wooden door moulding with granite plinths. The east facade contains on the ground floor (at the level of the sluice) a steel door and on either side of it small rectangular ventilation grilles. The north facade is blank.
Valuation
Transformer building annex kiosk dating from 1931-1933, of general importance as a historical-functional component of the sluice complex "Parksluizen".
