Omschrijving
TUINMANSWONING behorende tot de buitenplaats Overduin. Aan het einde van de toegangslaan staat een witgepleisterde tuinmanswoning uit ca.1839 toegeschreven aan de (tuin)architect K.G. Zocher. De op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken woning met donkere plint bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een met gesmoorde pannen gedekt, flauw hellend zadeldak met kort overstek; goot op klossen. De geheel vernieuwde achtergevel van het huis en de (recente) aanbouwen zijn voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang. De naar het westen gekeerde voorgevel van drie traveeën heeft centraal een houten zuilenportiek op stenen poeren met paneeldeur, die thans niet meer in gebruik is. Aan weerszijden hiervan een in een houten lijst gevat draaivenster met roedenverdeling en bakstenen onderdorpel op rechthoekige consoles. Zijgevels met een gelijkvormig venster, alleen gekoppeld; linkerzijgevel met luidklok. In het INTERIEUR is onder meer van belang de oorspronkelijk trap, balkenzoldering en kamerdeur.
Achter het huis bevindt zich een welput.

Description
GARDENER'S COTTAGE belonging to the country estate Overduin. At the end of the access lane stands a whitewashed gardener's cottage from c.1839 attributed to the (garden) architect K.G. Zocher. The cottage, erected on a rectangular ground plan with a dark plinth, consists of one storey and a roof storey under a gabled roof with damped tiles, gently pitched, with short overhang; gutter on corbels. The completely renovated rear facade of the house and the (recent) extensions are of subordinate importance for the protection. The front facade facing west of three bays has centrally a wooden columned portico on stone pedestals with a panelled door, now no longer in use. On either side of this a casement window set in a wooden frame with glazing bars and a brick undersill on rectangular corbels. Side facades with a similar window, only coupled; left side facade with a bell turret. In the INTERIOR, the original staircase, beam ceiling and room door are of particular importance.
Behind the house there is a well.
