Omschrijving
LANDBOUWSCHUUR behorende tot de buitenplaats Overduin. Ten dele op de 18de-eeuwse bouwplaats staat een grote langgerekte schuur uit 1857 (zie gedenksteen). De op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen schuur heeft een houten zijgevel (zuid) van gepotdekselde delen en bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een met Oegstgeester pannen gedekt wolfdak voorzien van windveren. In de zuidelijke langsgevel twee dubbele mendeuren tot aan de dakrand. De kopse westgevel heeft centraal twee omlijste deuren met halfronde bovenlichten geflankeerd door een omlijst rond venster, in de top een versiering met rondbooglijst en een omlijst rond venster. In het INTERIEUR is onder meer de gaaf aanwezige oorspronkelijk gebintconstructie van belang.

Description
AGRICULTURAL BARN belonging to the country estate Overduin. Partially on the 18th-century building site stands a large elongated barn from 1857 (see commemorative stone). The building erected on a rectangular ground plan, brick barn has a wooden side facade (south) of plaster and board sections and consists of one storey and a roof storey under a half-hipped roof covered with Oegstgeester tiles provided with wind braces. In the southern long facade two double sliding doors extending to the roof edge. The end west facade has centrally two framed doors with semicircular fanlights flanked by a framed round window, at the top a decoration with round arch moulding and a framed round window. In the INTERIOR notably of importance is the well-preserved original roof truss structure.
