Omschrijving
HEK met HEKPIJLER XVIII; op het kasteelplein naast de brug, in aansluiting op de borstwering ervan, kruispijler in mergel met dito bolvormige bekroning op dekplaat met kroonlijst; de andere pijler is verdwenen; ijzeren hekvleugels met gepunte spijlen van verschillende lengten, aan bovenzijde verbonden door golvend bandijzer; aan de buitenkant van de pijler sluiten twee korte stukken keermuur in mergel aan; de westmuur eindigt op de noordoosthoek van het kasteel.

GATE with GATE PIER 18th century; on the castle forecourt beside the bridge, adjoining its parapet, cross pier in marl with likewise spherical crown on cap stone with cornice; the other pier has disappeared; iron gate wings with pointed spikes of different lengths, connected at the top by undulating band iron; on the outside of the pier two short sections of retaining wall in marl adjoin; the west wall ends at the northeast corner of the castle.
