BOERDERIJ, XVIII a-b; nagenoeg symmetrisch bakstenen gebouw op U- plattegrond onder met lei gedekte daken; omvat met drie vleugels de west-, noord- en oostzijde van het eiland, dat door een brug (zie onder 4) met het kasteeleiland verbonden is; de boerderij is voorzien van vierkant uitgebouwde hoektorentjes onder geknikte achtkantige spitsen, en van hoekpaviljoens onder schilddaken op de beide zuidelijke uiteinden; het westpaviljoen, waarnaast het woongedeelte, bevat de inrijpoort, die vanaf de weg toegankelijk is via een brug (zie onder 4); hoge middenvleugel (noord) met wolfsdak, waarop de zadeldaken van de zijvleugels aansluiten; hardsteen voor de geblokte omlijstingen van de inrijpoort, de schietgaten en de merendeels vlakke venster- en ingangsomlijstingen; mergelhoekblokken in het benedenste muurwerk van de buitenkant van het poortpaviljoen wijzen op resten van ouder muurwerk; naast de inrijpoort nog katrollen van de vroegere ophaalbrug; op de poortdeur een klopper met jaartal 1784.

FARMHOUSE, XVIII a-b; almost symmetrical brick building on U-shaped ground plan under slate-covered roofs; comprises with three wings the west, north and east side of the island, which is connected by a bridge (see below 4) to the castle island; the farmhouse is provided with square projecting corner turrets under bent octagonal spires, and with corner pavilions under hipped roofs at both southern ends; the west pavilion, beside which the residential part, contains the entry gateway, which is accessible from the road via a bridge (see below 4); tall central wing (north) with half-hipped roof, onto which the gabled roofs of the side wings connect; hard-stone for the rusticated surrounds of the entry gateway, the shooting ports and mostly flat window and entrance surrounds; marl corner blocks in the lower brickwork of the outer side of the gate pavilion point to remains of older brickwork; beside the entry gateway still pulleys from the former drawbridge; on the gate door a knocker with the date 1784.
