Omschrijving onderdeel 6: TUINMUUR.
Langs de oostzijde van de parkaanleg van kasteel Mheer staat een 19de-eeuwse, uit baksteen opgetrokken, deels met een ezelsrug afgedekte TUINMUUR, die op de noordhoek nog enkele meters in westelijke richting wordt voortgezet. Ten zuiden van de kerk langs de inrit van het kasteel loopt de muur nog enkele meters door. Bij de noordhoek bevindt zich ook een rondboogvormige kleine poortdoorgang. Een grotere poortdoorgang ongeveer ter hoogte van de achtergevel van het hoofdhuis lijkt later ingehakt te zijn. De tuinmuur loopt door langs het kerkhof naast de kerk.

Description
Description of component 6: GARDEN WALL.
Along the east side of the park layout of castle Mheer stands a 19th-century GARDEN WALL built of brick, partly covered with a half-hipped roof, which at the north corner is continued for several metres in a westerly direction. South of the church along the castle driveway the wall continues for several metres. At the north corner there is also a small round-arched gateway passage. A larger gateway passage at approximately the height of the rear façade of the main house appears to have been cut in later. The garden wall continues along the churchyard beside the church.
Valuation
The GARDEN WALL at castle Mheer is of general cultural-historical importance because of its functional and visually defining significance.
