Omschrijving onderdeel 4:
DUIVENTIL.
Bij de Alexanderhoeve staat een in oorsprong 19de-eeuwse fazanterie, op achtzijdige grondslag opgetrokken in houten vakwerk staande op een gemetseld basement. Het onderstel is opgebouwd uit panelen van verticale latten waarboven langgerekte bovenlichten. Gesneden voluutconsoles dragen een overstekend achtzijdig puntdak, dat bekroond wordt door het eigenlijke duiventorentje. Het torentje bevat twee vlieggaten per vlak en wordt eveneens gedekt door een overstekend puntdak gedragen door consoles en bekroond door een piron.

Description of component 4:
DOVECOTE.
At the Alexanderhoeve stands a pheasantry of 19th-century origin, erected on an octagonal plan in timber-frame construction standing on a masonry basement. The substructure is built up from panels of vertical laths above which elongated fanlights. Carved volute consoles support an overhanging octagonal pointed roof, which is crowned by the actual small dove tower. The tower contains two flight holes per side and is likewise covered by an overhanging pointed roof borne by consoles and crowned by a finial.
