De ten zuidoosten van het landhuis `De Vijverhof' gelegen nieuw-architectonische BLOEMENTUIN van D.F. Tersteeg is na een periode van verval in de jaren vijftig en zestig voor een deel teruggebracht in oude toestand. De bescherming richt zich op deze hoofdopzet van vier deeltuinen, de gemetselde muren met detaillering, trappen, zuil met zonnewijzer en waterspuwers. De hoofdopzet met de vier deeltuinen is nog steeds intact, maar de invulling is daarentegen voor een aanzienlijk deel veranderd. Deze is sterk vereenvoudigd door grotere perken met buxushagen. De perken hebben thans een grasinvulling gekregen. De vijver in de tweede en grootste deeltuin heeft een volledig andere, grotere vorm gekregen. Deze verandering dateert van de laatste `restauratie'. Het in de derde deeltuin gelegen smalle perk is nu een vijver. De vierde deeltuin, die als afsluiter fungeert, verkeert in de meest originele staat, vermoedelijk omdat hier van oorsprong geen perkjes lagen. De in de kademuren aangebrachte vissenkop-waterspuwers verkeren in goede staat. The new-architectural FLOWER GARDEN by D.F. Tersteeg, situated to the southeast of the country house 'De Vijverhof', has after a period of neglect in the nineteen-fifties and nineteen-sixties been partly restored to its original condition. The protection focuses on this main layout of four garden divisions, the masonry walls with detailing, stairs, column with sundial and water spouts. The main layout with the four garden divisions is still intact, but the filling has by contrast changed considerably. This has been greatly simplified by larger beds with box hedges. The beds now have a grass filling. The pond in the second and largest garden division has acquired a completely different, larger shape. This change dates from the latest 'restoration'.
