BOERDERIJ 'Het Hoog Erf' was een van de oude kernen van het landgoed waaruit later Warnsborn is ontstaan. Ter plaatse stond in de 17de eeuw een boerderij. Deze of een latere ging in de Tweede Wereldoorlog verloren, waarna zij in 1947-1948 werd herbouwd onder leiding van het bureau Wederopbouw Boerderijen, district Arnhem, rayon Apeldoorn. Het ontwerp in Delftse Schoolstijl werd geleverd door het Arnhemse architectenbureau Feenstra.
Boerderij van het traditionele hallehuistype op rechthoekige plattegrond, een bouwlaag onder zadeldak met wolfseinden. De dakvlakken zijn met riet belegd en voorzien van gebakken nokvorsten. In de dakvlakken segmentvormige dakkapellen. Kapel met hooiluik in het linker dakvlak. De bakstenen gevels zijn wit geschilderd. De boerderij is in een woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte verdeeld. Symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel van drie traveeën breed. Voordeur met bovenlicht en roedevensters met luiken. Op de verdieping drie vensters.
Rechterzijgevel met venster als voor en een ingang naar het woongedeelte. Links van deze ingang een plaquette met herrijzende leeuw boven vlammen met het jaartal 1947. In de zijgevels betonnen stalvensters en ingangen met bovenlichten. Achtergevel met deeldeuren en hooiluik met jaartal 1947.
In het interieur was oorspronkelijk een grubstal voor koeien en jongvee en stalruimte voor paarden en een stier.

De BOERDERIJ 'Het Hoog Erf' deeluitmakend van een ensemble van boerderij met zomerhuis behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Warnsborn is van belang:

FARMHOUSE 'Het Hoog Erf' was one of the old cores of the estate from which Warnsborn later developed. In the 17th century a farmhouse stood at this location. This or a later one was lost in the Second World War, after which it was rebuilt in 1947-1948 under the direction of the Reconstruction of Farmhouses office, Arnhem district, Apeldoorn sector. The design in Delft School style was provided by the Arnhem architectural office Feenstra.
Farmhouse of the traditional hall-house type on a rectangular ground plan, one storey under a gabled roof with half-hipped ends. The roof surfaces are laid with thatch and provided with burnt roof ridge finials. Segmental-shaped roof dormers in the roof planes. Chapel with hay door in the left roof plane. The brick facades are painted white. The farmhouse is divided into a residential and business section. Symmetrically arranged front facade three bays wide. Front door with fanlight and multi-pane windows with shutters. On the upper storey three windows.
