Omschrijving onderdeel 6:
INRIJHEK van het complex historische buitenplaats Leyduin, opgericht bij de ingang van de eerste Leyweg en de Vogelenzangseweg. Het inrijhek, waarvan alleen de gemetselde pijlers resteren, is opgericht tijdens of kort na de bouw van het nieuwe hoofdhuis in 1921. De pijlers staan op een natuurstenen basement en worden afgesloten door vlakke hardstenen afdekplaten, waarin de naam LEY DUIN is aangebracht. De pijlers zelf zijn gemetseld met een motief van vlakke pilasters tegen gecanneleerd metselwerk.

Description of component 6:
ENTRANCE GATE of the complex historical country estate Leyduin, erected at the entrance of the first Leyweg and the Vogelenzangseweg. The entrance gate, of which only the brick pillars remain, was erected during or shortly after the construction of the new main house in 1921. The pillars stand on a natural stone basement and are closed off by flat hard stone cover plates, on which the name LEY DUIN is inscribed. The pillars themselves are laid with a motif of flat pilasters against fluted brickwork.
