Omschrijving onderdeel 9: TUINSIERADEN.
TUINSIERADEN, te weten: stel kanonnen en twee (niet-identieke) sokkels.
Kanonnen; op de keermuur aan weerszijden van het hoofdinrijhek een kanon op (nieuwe) houten affuit; brons, gegoten in Den Haag in 1787 en 1788.
Sokkel tussen bouwhuis en koetshuis; ongeveer 1700; zandsteen; vierkante sokkel op geprofileerde plint; vlakken versierd met festoenen en strikken in hoogreliëf. Sokkel nabij de villa; derde kwart achttiende eeuw; zandsteen; balustervormige vierkante (zonnewijzer?)sokkel in Lodewijk XV-stijl.
Waardering
De TUINSIERADEN zijn van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de cultuurhistorische en ornamentele waarden;

GARDEN ORNAMENTS, namely: set of cannons and two (non-identical) plinths.
Cannons; on the retaining wall on either side of the main drive gate a cannon on (new) wooden carriage; bronze, cast in The Hague in 1787 and 1788.
Plinth between garden house and coach house; approximately 1700; sandstone; square plinth on moulded base; surfaces decorated with garlands and bows in high relief. Plinth near the villa; third quarter eighteenth century; sandstone; baluster-shaped square (sundial?) plinth in Louis XV style.
Assessment
The GARDEN ORNAMENTS are of general interest:
