Omschrijving onderdeel 3:
KOETSHUIS behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Zuidewijn. Terzijde van het hoofdgebouw met zijn voorgevel naar het zuiden gekeerd staat een op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken 18de-eeuwse stal (zie metselwerk noordgevel), die in de 19de eeuw tot koetshuis is verbouwd waarbij de voorgevel is vernieuwd. Het eenlaagse pand wordt overkapt door een met gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt wolfdak. De voorgevel heeft een brede klokgevel horizontaal afgedekt door een lijst; centraal in de gevel een segmentvormige, dubbele inrijdeur geflankeerd door een gietijzeren rondboogvenster met roedenverdeling en in de top een rond venster met spaakroeden. De achtergevel heeft een getoogde, dubbele inrijdeur geflankeerd door een stalvenster en een rond topvenster. De deuren zijn geschilderd in de heraldische kleuren van de familie De Roy van Zuidewijn. Bij de entree in de zijgevel staat een 17de-eeuws leeuwtje van Bentheimer zandsteen.

COACH HOUSE belonging to the historic country estate Zuidewijn. Beside the main building with its front facade facing south stands a stable erected on a rectangular foundation from the 18th century (see brickwork of north facade), which was converted into a coach house in the 19th century whereby the front facade was renewed. The single-storey building is covered by a half-hipped roof covered with muffled Old Dutch tiles. The front facade has a broad bell gable horizontally capped by a moulding; centrally in the facade a segmental double entrance gate flanked by a cast-iron round-arch window with glazing bars and at the top a round window with spoke bars. The rear facade has an arched double entrance gate flanked by a stable window and a round top window. The doors are painted in the heraldic colours of the family De Roy van Zuidewijn. At the entrance in the side facade stands a 17th-century lion of Bentheimer sandstone.
