Omschrijving onderdeel 5:
ZONNEWIJZER OP BASEMENT In het noordelijk deel van het park staat een smeedijzeren zonnewijzer op een hardstenen basement. Het hardstenen basement op vierkante grondslag is sober gedecoreerd met verhoogd aangebrachte rechthoekige paneelvakken, het kraagt naar onderen iets uit en is voorzien van een geprofileerde afdekplaat. Zonnewijzer en basement dateren vermoedelijk uit het einde van de 19de eeuw. Het ensemble stond aan het begin van de 20ste eeuw wat oostelijker in de aanleg op een rond grasperk dat een kruising van wandelpaden markeerde (foto's van omstreeks 1900).

SUNDIAL ON BASEMENT. In the northern part of the park stands a wrought-iron sundial on a stone basement. The stone basement on square plan is soberly decorated with raised rectangular panel sections, it projects slightly outward at the bottom and is furnished with a moulded coping. Sundial and basement date presumably from the end of the 19th century. The ensemble stood at the beginning of the 20th century somewhat more to the east in the layout on a round grass circle that marked a crossing of paths (photographs from around 1900).
