Omschrijving
Aan de zuid-, oost- en westzijde omvat een U-vormige GRACHT de slingertuin. Ten zuiden van de gracht loopt de Streeksterweg. De gracht heeft weliswaar de vorm van een U, maar vertoont aan de zuidzijde, ter hoogte van het woonhuis, een lichte uitstulping in de richting van de boerderij. De brug over het westelijke deel van de gracht valt bij gebrek aan ouderdomswaarde buiten de wettelijke bescherming, hetzelfde geldt voor de brug over het oostelijke deel van de gracht.
Waardering
De U-vormige GRACHT aan de zuid-, oost- en westzijde van de slingertuin vertegenwoordigt het algemeen belang wegens:
- de ouderdom;
- als onderdeel van het tuinkunstig ontwerp van J. Vroom sr.;
- de sierende waarde;
- als specimen van historische erfscheiding.

On the south, east and west sides a U-shaped MOAT encompasses the winding garden. South of the moat runs the Streeksterweg. The moat has the form of a U, but shows on the south side, at the level of the residential house, a slight bulge in the direction of the farm. The bridge over the western part of the moat falls outside statutory protection due to lack of age value, the same applies to the bridge over the eastern part of the moat.
Valuation
The U-shaped MOAT on the south, east and west sides of the winding garden represents general importance on account of:
- its age;
- as part of the garden design by J. Vroom sr.;
- its decorative value;
- as a specimen of historic boundary division.
