Omschrijving
Het in de bodem verzonken LAAGRESERVOIR (1941-43) op rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit vier kelders. Boven de grond is het reservoir zichtbaar doordat de grond is opgehoogd.
Aan de zuidzijde vier en aan de noordzijde twee rechthoekige grindbetonnen mangaten met ijzeren deksels. Aan de zuidzijde twee rechthoekige meetkelders onder plat dak opgetrokken in rode baksteen waarin een houten deur die leidt naar het reservoir.
Waardering
Laagreservoir van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische waarde:
- vanwege de hoge mate van gaafheid
- vanwege de functionele en ruimtelijk-visuele relatie met de overige onderdelen van het complex
- als eerste voorbeeld van een laagreservoir met volautomatische aanjager in de provincie Groningen.

The SHALLOW RESERVOIR (1941-43) sunken into the ground on a rectangular plan consists of four cellars. Above ground the reservoir is visible in that the ground has been raised.
On the south side four and on the north side two rectangular gravel concrete manhole covers with iron lids. On the south side two rectangular meter cellars under flat roof constructed in red brick with a wooden door leading to the reservoir.
