Omschrijving
Voormalig TOLHUIS (9) van Huis Almelo uit de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw. Het gebouw staat in het Gravenbos aan de noordzijde van de Gravenallee. Aan de gevel hangt een tolbord uit 1837 en er is een tolboom aanwezig. Het pand is tot 1924 als tolhuis in gebruik geweest. Pand van één bouwlaag op rechthoekige plattegrond onder met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met nok evenwijdig aan de allee. Tegen de rechterzijgevel een lagere aanbouw onder dwars geplaatst zadeldak en daarachter een deels houten schuur. De gevels zijn boven een grijs geschilderde plint wit gepleisterd; de voor- en zijgevels met schijnvoegen. De symmetrische voorgevel heeft vijf vensterassen met in de middelste de entree. De met spits- en lancetbogen versierde paneeldeur heeft een bovenlicht met diagonale roedeverdeling. Boven de ingang hangt een lantaarn. De recht gesloten vensters in de voor- en zijgevels zijn deels uitgevoerd als achtruitsvensters en deels als zesruitsvensters met gedeeld bovenlicht. De kleine achthoekige vensters in de beschoten geveltoppen van de zijgevels met diagonale roedeverdeling. In de aanbouw zesruitsvensters. De achtergevel heeft een centrale entree met links daarvan een venster en rechts en lage deur met vierruitsvenster. Inwendig zijn de gangdeuren op dezelfde wijze gedecoreerd als de voordeur.

Description
Former TOLL HOUSE (9) of House Almelo from the first half of the 19th century. The building stands in the Gravenbos on the north side of the Gravenallee. On the facade hangs a toll board from 1837 and there is a toll bar present. The building was used as a toll house until 1924. Building of one storey on rectangular plan under a gabled roof with hidden Dutch tiles, ridge parallel to the alley. Against the right side facade a lower extension under a transversely placed gabled roof and behind it a partly wooden shed. The facades above a grey painted plint are white rendered; the front and side facades with ashlar lines. The symmetrical front facade has five window bays with the entrance in the middle one. The panelled door decorated with pointed and lancet arches has a fanlight with diagonal glazing bars. Above the entrance hangs a lantern. The straight-headed windows in the front and side facades are partly executed as sash windows and partly as six-light windows with divided fanlight. The small octagonal windows in the boarded gable tops of the side facades with diagonal glazing bars. In the extension six-light windows. The rear facade has a central entrance with to its left a window and to its right a low door with four-light window. Internally the corridor doors are decorated in the same manner as the front door.
