Inleiding
Smalle houten DRAAIBRUG MET TUIWERK uit omstreeks 1890 over het kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn die op de zuidoever van het kanaal aansluit op het padennet van het Gravenbos.
Omschrijving
Lange smalle brug op palen in het water met vernieuwd houten brugdek en eenvoudig ijzeren brugleuningen. De brug heeft fraai gedetailleerd ijzeren tuiwerk en koningsstangen. Een gebogen kruis met lantaarn verbindt de pylonen zodat een poortje is ontstaan.
Waardering
Eenvoudige draaibrug van architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege:
- de constructie van de brug
- de ensemblewaarde in samenhang met het kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn.
- de redelijke mate van gaafheid

Narrow wooden SWING BRIDGE WITH CABLE STAYS from around 1890 over the Almelo-Nordhorn canal which connects on the south bank of the canal to the path network of the Gravenbos.
Description
Long narrow bridge on piles in the water with renewed wooden bridge deck and simple iron bridge railings. The bridge has finely detailed iron cable stays and king posts. A curved cross with lantern connects the pylons so that a small gateway has been created.

Simple swing bridge of architectural-historical and urban planning importance because of:

- the ensemble value in relation to the Almelo-Nordhorn canal.
