Onderdeel 7
TOEGANGSHEK. De toegang tot de oprijlaan wordt gemarkeerd door twee bakstenen pijlers op hardstenen voetstuk onder een hardstenen afdekplaat. Op de beide afdekplaten bevinden zich hardstenen ornamentstukken in de vorm van een schilddragende leeuw. Tussen de pijlers een sierlijk, dubbel smeedijzeren spijlenhek uit het midden van de 18de eeuw. De bakstenen pijlers dateren vermoedelijk uit het midden van de 20ste eeuw, een foto van vóór 1958 toont geblokte, natuurstenen pijlers.

ACCESS GATE. The entrance to the drive is marked by two brick piers on a hardstone base under a hardstone capping. On both capstones are hardstone ornamental pieces in the form of a coat-of-arms-bearing lion. Between the piers an elegant double wrought-iron bar gate from the middle of the 18th century. The brick piers date presumably from the middle of the 20th century, a photograph from before 1958 shows rusticated natural stone piers.
