IJSKELDER. Ten oosten van het huis liggen de restanten van een ijskelder. De vorm, achthoekig, is uniek voor ons land en is waarschijnlijk ook een ontwerp van S.A. van Lunteren. Op de achtzijdige onderbouw rustte een piramidevormig, rieten dak. Dit was in de jaren zestig van de 20ste eeuw zo vervallen dat het is afgebroken.

ICE HOUSE. To the east of the house lie the remains of an ice house. The shape, octagonal, is unique for our country and is probably also a design by S.A. van Lunteren. On the eight-sided substructure rested a pyramid-shaped, thatched roof. This had deteriorated so much by the nineteen-sixties that it was demolished.
