Omschrijving onderdeel 6: MOESTUINMUUR met HEKPOSTEN.
De moestuin wordt aan oost- en noordzijde afgesloten met een muur met hekposten. Het oostelijke gedeelte is bij de overstroming van 1926 omgevallen en opnieuw opgetrokken als spouwmuur, afgesloten met een rollaag. Hierdoor kon de warmte voor het leifruit beter worden vastgehouden. In het midden van deze muur een spitsboogvormig poortje met houten deur, waardoorheen de mest op de moestuin gekruid kon worden. Het daarmee verbonden noordelijke deel van de muur dateert uit het midden van de 19de eeuw. Bakstenen muur tussen pijlers, afgesloten met een rollaag. In het midden een poort met twee gemetselde hekposten met stenen bal als bekroning.

Description component 6: KITCHEN GARDEN WALL with GATE POSTS.
The kitchen garden is enclosed on the east and north sides with a wall with gate posts. The eastern section collapsed during the 1926 flood and was rebuilt as a cavity wall, topped with a roll moulding. This allowed heat to be better retained for the wall fruit. In the middle of this wall a pointed arch-shaped little gate with wooden door, through which manure could be wheeled onto the kitchen garden. The associated northern part of the wall dates from the middle of the 19th century. Brick wall between piers, topped with a roll moulding. In the middle a gate with two built-in gate posts with stone ball as crowning.
