Na de oorlog werd in 1953 ter herinnering aan de slachtoffers een tweetal monumenten opgericht. Aan het begin terzijde van de schietbaan staat de GEDENKSTEEN (6A) met de tekst "ZIJ DIE IN DE JAREN 1940-1945 HIER WERDEN OMGEBRACHT HEBBEN MET HUN BLOED DEZE GROND GEHEILIGD HUN OFFER ZIJ HET NAGESLACHT EEN LICHTEND VOORBEELD". In de kom van de schietbaan is een MONUMENT (6B), één van de elf nationale monumenten, opgericht dat de officiële naam 'Gevangene voor het vuurpeloton draagt', maar in de volksmond 'De Stenen Man' is gaan heten. Het is vervaardigd door de Amsterdamse beeldhouwer Frits Sieger. Op een sokkel van basaltlava staat een levensgroot zandstenen (Vaurion) beeld van een man, voorstellende een gevangene in kampkleding. Rondom de sokkel is een zwart-wit marmer plaveisel aangebracht, waarin de afbeelding van een vredesduif. In 2002 is het beeld gerestaureerd door Lourens Demmer uit Loenen.
Waardering
De GEDENKSTEEN en het MONUMENT 'De Stenen Man' zijn van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische waarde als uiting van de wijze waarop na de oorlog de herinnering hieraan werd vormgegeven hier in het bijzonder de herinnering aan het kamp Amersfoort. Beide hebben tevens ensemblewaarde.

Description
After the war, in 1953 two monuments were erected in commemoration of the victims. At the beginning beside the firing range stands the COMMEMORATIVE STONE (6A) with the text "THOSE WHO IN THE YEARS 1940-1945 WERE EXECUTED HERE HAVE WITH THEIR BLOOD SANCTIFIED THIS GROUND THEIR SACRIFICE BE TO POSTERITY A SHINING EXAMPLE". In the bowl of the firing range is a MONUMENT (6B), one of the eleven national monuments, erected bearing the official name 'Prisoner before the firing squad' but popularly known as 'The Stone Man'. It was created by Amsterdam sculptor Frits Sieger. On a base of basalt lava stands a life-size sandstone (Vaurion) statue of a man, depicting a prisoner in camp clothing. Around the base is a black and white marble paving, in which the image of a dove of peace. In 2002 the statue was restored by Lourens Demmer from Loenen.
