Inleiding
Zoals op de muurschildering op de resterende muur van het kantoor van de kampcommandant te zien is, stond tegenover het kantoor van de kampcommandant de klokkenstoel opgesteld, waarin de appèlklok was opgehangen. De klok werd geluid ten teken van het destijds beruchte appèl. Bij de herinrichting van het terrein in de late jaren 1990 is de klokkenstoel op de huidige plaats opgesteld.
Omschrijving
Houten KLOKKENSTOEL van het complex historisch oorlogsmonument Kamp Amersfoort, bestaande uit twee houten staanders met schoren die het met rietgedekte kapje dragen. De bronzen APPELKLOK heeft enige randversiering.
Waardering
De KLOKKENSTOEL met APPELKLOK is van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische waarde als fenomeen van het kampleven en tevens vanwege ensemblewaarde.

Introduction
As can be seen in the mural painting on the remaining wall of the office of the camp commandant, opposite the office of the camp commandant stood the bell tower, in which the roll-call bell was hung. The bell was rung as a sign of the then notorious roll-call. During the redevelopment of the site in the late 1990s the bell tower was erected in its current location.
Description
Wooden BELL TOWER of the complex historic war monument Kamp Amersfoort, consisting of two wooden posts with braces supporting the thatched roof canopy. The bronze ROLL-CALL BELL has some border decoration.

The BELL TOWER with ROLL-CALL BELL is of general importance due to cultural-historical value as a phenomenon of camp life and also due to ensemble value.
