Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 6: DUIFHUIS.
Bouwwerk uit omstreeks 1830, waarin zowel kippen als duiven gehouden werden. Bakstenen bouwwerk van twee bouwlagen op vierkante plattegrond onder tentdak met grijze pannen belegd, dat wordt bekroond door een vierkante duiventil met invlieggaten onder ingezwenkte naaldspits (product van een restauratie in 1977). Het duifhuis is gesitueerd in de as van de oranjerie. In de naar de oranjerie gewende gevel twee openingen boven elkaar met houten luik afgesloten. In de beide zijgevels een lage getoogde opening voor de kippen en een luik (rechts). Aan de achterzijde een toegang met houten luik.

Description
Description of component 6: DOVECOTE.
Structure dating from around 1830, in which both chickens and pigeons were kept. Brick structure of two storeys on a square plan under a tent roof with grey tiles, crowned by a square pigeon loft with flight holes under an inturned needle spire (product of a restoration in 1977). The dovecote is situated in the axis of the orangery. In the façade facing the orangery two openings one above the other, closed with a wooden shutter. In both side façades a low arched opening for the chickens and a shutter (right). At the rear an entrance with wooden shutter.
