Inleiding
Boerderijcomplex Den Enk, behorende tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis.
Ten oosten van het hoofdgebouw van de buitenplaats gelegen 19de-eeuws boerderijcomplex bestaande uit een boerderij en kapberg. Vanuit het hoofdgebouw is er een zichtas op de voorgevel van de boerderij. De op het erf gelegen kleine stal en het bakhuis zijn ingrijpend gemoderniseerd dan wel vernieuwd. Kleine stal en bakhuis zijn niet van voldoende waarde vanuit het oogpunt van monumentenzorg en vallen daarom niet onder de werking van de monumentenwet, maar ondersteunen wel het beeld van het boerderijensemble. De op het erf gelegen grote moderne stal is ook van bescherming uitgesloten.
Omschrijving
Ten zuidwesten van de boerderij een vierroedige KAPBERG met gepotdekselde onderbouw en hoge tasvloer. Het platte piramidevormige dak is rietgedekt.
Waardering
De KAPBERG deeluitmakend van boerderijcomplex Den Enk, behorende tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis, is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de ornamentele waarde;
- vanwege de functioneel- en visueel-ruimtelijke relatie met de andere onderdelen van de buitenplaats.

Introduction
Farm complex Den Enk, belonging to the country house estate Nijenhuis.
19th-century farm complex situated east of the main building of the country house estate, consisting of a farmhouse and a cart shed. From the main building there is a sight line to the front facade of the farmhouse. The small stable and bakehouse situated on the farm yard have been substantially modernised or renewed. The small stable and bakehouse are not of sufficient value from the point of view of monument conservation and therefore do not fall under the application of the Monuments Act, but do support the image of the farm ensemble. The large modern stable situated on the farm yard is also excluded from protection.
Description
Southwest of the farmhouse a four-bay CART SHED with tar-paved underbody and high hay loft. The flat pyramid-shaped roof is thatched.
Valuation
The CART SHED forming part of farm complex Den Enk, belonging to the country house estate Nijenhuis, is of general interest:
