Omschrijving onderdeel 5B: BRUG, XVIII.
Brug, die de ruïne verbindt met het voorplein; van baksteen en met twee togen, twee treden hoger dan het voorplein; de treden zijn rond gelegd en van natuursteen, evenals de dekplaten boven de togen; de in vervallen staat verkerende balustrade bestaat uit brede zandstenen balusters in L.XV-stijl, die met elkaar verbonden zijn door twee evenwijdige ronde stangen; de eindbalusters aan de voorpleinzijde zijn waarschijnlijk hergebruikte klauwstukken, midden XVIII. De brug zwenkt uit aan de pleinzijde en heeft een klinkerdek.

Description
Description of component 5B: BRIDGE, 18th century.
Bridge connecting the ruin with the forecourt; of brick and with two arches, two steps higher than the forecourt; the steps are laid in curves and of natural stone, as are the cover plates above the arches; the balustrade in poor condition consists of broad sandstone balusters in L.XV style, which are connected to each other by two parallel round rods; the end balusters on the forecourt side are probably reused claw pieces, mid 18th century. The bridge curves out at the courtyard side and has a clinker deck.

The BRIDGE connecting the ruin with the forecourt is of general importance:
