Omschrijving onderdeel 4A: TOEGANGSHEK, Eerste kwart twintigste eeuw.
Hek in L.XVI-stijl; natuursteen; vier geblokte kruispijlers, waarvan de twee middenpijlers het hoogst zijn; alle vier bekroond met ronde cementen oorvazen met knorrenversiering; vaste hekken tussen buiten- en middenpijlers, hoger, voluutvormig uitlopend tegen middenpijler; de beweegbare hekvleugels tussen de middenpijlers zijn hoger en van hetzelfde model; iets rijkere uitmonstering; al het hekwerk in smeedijzer in zwart geverfd; speerpunten op de spijlen in goud. Het hek staat aan de Windesheimerweg aan het eind van de toegangsbrug (zie onder 5A).

Het TOEGANGSHEK is van algemeen belang:

Description of component 4A: ENTRANCE GATE, First quarter twentieth century.
Gate in L.XVI style; natural stone; four rusticated cross pillars, of which the two central pillars are the highest; all four crowned with round cement ear vases with knot decoration; fixed gates between outer and central pillars, higher, scrolling upward against central pillar; the moveable gate wings between the central pillars are higher and of the same model; somewhat richer ornamentation; all the gate work in wrought iron painted black; spear points on the bars in gold. The gate stands on Windesheimerweg at the end of the access bridge (see under 5A).

The ENTRANCE GATE is of general interest:
