Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARK- EN TUINAANLEG.
In oorsprong 18de-eeuwse parkaanleg waarvan een groot deel van het lanenpatroon en het sterrenbos in de noordwesthoek van het terrein van getuigen. In het midden van de 19de eeuw lag rond het huis en de tuinmanswoning en in een smalle reep aan de overkant van de weg een landschapspark met waterlopen gebogen padenpatroon en afwisseling van open en gesloten ruimten. Na 1926 is rond het huis een tuin in geometrische vormen naar ontwerp van L.A. Springer gerealiseerd.
De volgende historische elementen zijn van belang:
- de 18de-eeuwse aanleg waarvan het lanenpatroon in noordwestelijke en noordoostelijke richting over de in de jaren dertig van de 19de eeuw verharde Zuiderzeestraatweg heen loopt;
- het 18de-eeuwse sterrenbos in de noordwesthoek van de buitenplaats;
- de in oorsprong 18de-eeuwse ronde kom in een van de lanen die later tot zwembad is ingericht met een beplanting met rododendrons daar omheen. De toegangslaan tot het zwembad was een beukenberceau; sedert de jaren dertig van de 20ste eeuw uitgegroeid;
- het patroon van slingerende lanen en waterlopen dat in het midden van de 19de eeuw over het formele gedeelte is heen gelegd: een wandelbos van gemengd inlands loofhout (beuk en eik) met struiken als hulst en taxus als onderbegroeiin;
- 't Vinkennest aan de overzijde van de weg met de in de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw ontstane wandelpark met slingerpaden, waterpartijen en een in de jaren veertig ingericht arboretum en pinetum;
- de open ruimte ten zuidoosten van 't Vinkennest met duiventil (zie onderdeel 6) als uitzicht op én vanuit het wandelpark;
- de door L.A. Springer ontworpen geometrische tuin bij het huis, bestaande uit vierkante en rechthoekige, met buxus afgeperkte vakken, doorsneden met lanen die elkaar recht dan wel schuin kruisen. In het vak ter hoogte van de oranjerie staat een van metaal gevlochten bloemenkorf.

De PARK- EN TUINAANLEG behorend tot de historische buitenplaats IJsselvliedt is van algemeen cultuur-, tuinhistorisch en stedenbouwkundig belang;
- wegens de ouderdom;

Description component 2: PARK AND GARDEN LAYOUT.
Originally an 18th-century park layout of which a large part of the lane pattern and the star wood in the north-west corner of the site bear witness. In the middle of the 19th century around the house and the gardener's cottage and in a narrow strip on the opposite side of the road lay a landscape park with watercourses, curved path patterns and alternation of open and enclosed spaces. After 1926 around the house a garden in geometric forms was realised to the design of L.A. Springer.
The following historical elements are of importance:
- the 18th-century layout of which the lane pattern in north-west and north-east direction runs across the Zuiderzeestraatweg hardened in the 1830s;
- the 18th-century star wood in the north-west corner of the country house;
- the originally 18th-century circular pool in one of the lanes which was later converted into a swimming pool with a planting of rhododendrons around it. The access lane to the swimming pool was a beech pergola; since the 1930s overgrown;
- the pattern of winding lanes and watercourses that was laid over the formal part in the middle of the 19th century: a walking wood of mixed native deciduous trees (beech and oak) with shrubs such as holly and yew as undergrowth;
- 't Vinkennest on the opposite side of the road with the walking park created in the second half of the 19th century with winding paths, water features and an arboretum and pinetum established in the 1940s;
- the open space to the south-east of 't Vinkennest with dovecote (see component 6) as a view from and from the walking park;
- the geometric garden designed by L.A. Springer at the house, consisting of square and rectangular compartments bordered with box hedge, intersected with lanes that cross each other at right angles or diagonally. In the compartment at the level of the orangery stands a flower basket woven from metal.
Valuation
The PARK AND GARDEN LAYOUT belonging to the historic country house IJsselvliedt is of general cultural-historical, garden-historical and urban planning importance;
- due to its age;
- due to the different (18th-, 19th- and 20th-century) layers in the layout;
