Omschrijving onderdeel 1.
HOOFDGEBOUW (De Voorst). Het in oorsprong zeventiende-eeuws blokvormige hoofdgebouw met gebogen collonades en zijvleugels in classicistische stijl is wellicht gebouwd met medewerking van Jacob Roman en Daniël Marot. Na de brand in 1943 is het pand onder leiding van de bouwkundige dienst van Heidemij en met medewerking van architect C.A Baart de la Faille in 1957 in oude staat teruggebracht. De met zandsteen beklede muren van het corps-de-logis zijn op vierkante grondslag opgetrokken. Het pand bestaat uit een souterrain en twee bouwlagen onder een met leien gedekt, gebogen en afgeplat schilddak bekroond door een omlopende balustrade met schoorstenen op de hoeken. De symmetrisch ingedeelde gevels met geblokte hoekpilasters, kennen een invulling van meerruitsvensters, keldervensters en dakkapellen. De zevenassige voor- en achtergevel hebben een licht risalerende middenpartij van drie traveeën geleed met pilasterstellingen (Ionisch en Korintisch). De middenpartij wordt bekroond door een attiek met centraal het gebeeldhouwde wapen van Van Keppel gedekt door een gravenkroon. De toegangsdeur is bereikbaar via een halfrondvormige trap met rechthoekig bordes voorzien van een hardstenen balustrade (balusters). Aan de achterzijde een gelijkvormige bordestrap voorzien van een eenvoudige ijzeren balustrade. Aan weerszijden van het corps de logis kwart cirkelvormige collonades van Ionische zuilen bekroond door een balustrade. Centraal in de gesloten achtergevel, die met Ionische pilasters is geleed, een deur met driehoekig fronton geflankeerd door meerruitsvensters.
Waardering HOOFDGEBOUW (De Voorst) van algemeen belang:

MAIN BUILDING (De Voorst). The originally seventeenth-century block-shaped main building with curved colonnades and side wings in classical style was possibly built with the assistance of Jacob Roman and Daniël Marot. After the fire in 1943 the building was restored to its original state in 1957 under the direction of the building service of Heidemij and with the assistance of architect C.A Baart de la Faille. The walls of the corps-de-logis, clad with sandstone, are erected on a square ground plan. The building comprises a basement and two storeys under a hipped roof covered with slate, curved and flattened, crowned by a running balustrade with chimneys at the corners. The symmetrically arranged facades with blocked corner pilasters feature multi-paned windows, basement windows and roof dormers. The seven-bay front and rear gable have a slightly projecting central section of three bays articulated with pilaster arrangements (Ionic and Corinthian). The central section is crowned by an attic with centrally the sculpted coat of arms of Van Keppel covered by an earl's crown. The entrance door is accessible via a semicircular staircase with rectangular landing provided with a hardstone balustrade (balusters). On the rear side a similar landing staircase provided with a simple iron balustrade. On either side of the corps-de-logis quarter-circular colonnades of Ionic columns crowned by a balustrade. Centrally in the closed rear gable, which is articulated with Ionic pilasters, a door with triangular pediment flanked by multi-paned windows.
