HISTORISCHE PARKAANLEG. De structuur van het PARK van Gulden Bodem ten westen van de Zijpendaalseweg is sedert de aanleg in 1870 niet veranderd. Het parkgedeelte concentreert zich rond de plaats waar het Jachthuis heeft gestaan. Vanaf de Zijpendaalseweg draait tegenover de oostelijke ingang naar Zypendaal een gebogen pad de heuvel op, loopt tussen twee forse tamme kastanjes uit de 17de eeuw en passeert een bosgedeelte en vervolgens open weides met boomgroepen en struiken. Vanaf de plaats waar het Jachthuis heeft gestaan is een fraai doorzicht op het lager gelegen Zypendaal. Ten westen daarvan ligt het koetshuis (zie hiervoor onderdeel 1). Het pad splitst zich, draait en buigt vervolgens af in zuidelijke richting om weer op de Zijpendaalseweg uit te komen. Op de punt van pad en weg ligt het houten huis (zie hiervoor onderdeel 3). Aansluitend gaat het park over in een bosgedeelte met landerijen.

HISTORIC PARK LAYOUT. The structure of the PARK of Gulden Bodem to the west of the Zijpendaalseweg has not changed since its establishment in 1870. The park section concentrates around the location where the Hunting Lodge stood. From the Zijpendaalseweg, opposite the eastern entrance to Zypendaal, a curved path winds up the hill, runs between two sturdy sweet chestnut trees from the 17th century and passes a wooded section and subsequently open meadows with groups of trees and shrubs. From the location where the Hunting Lodge stood there is a fine vista onto the lower-lying Zypendaal. To the west of this lies the carriage house (see component 1 for this). The path splits, turns and then bends in a southerly direction to return to the Zijpendaalseweg. At the junction of path and road lies the wooden house (see component 3 for this). Adjoining this, the park transitions into a wooded section with farmland.
