Omschrijving onderdeel 12: TWEE SOKKELS BIJ ENTREE.
Aan het begin van de Van Spaenallee bij kasteel Biljoen staan twee grote vroeg-19de-eeuwse natuurstenen SOKKELS die de entree markeren. De sokkels staan op een basement op kruisvormige grondslag. De sokkels zijn voorzien van verdiepte velden, voluten en gestileerde achantusblad- en bloemmotieven.
Waardering
De TWEE SOKKELS behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Biljoen zijn van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;

Description of component 12: TWO PLINTHS AT ENTRANCE.
At the beginning of the Van Spaenallee at Biljoen castle stand two large early 19th-century natural stone PLINTHS marking the entrance. The plinths stand on a basement with cruciform ground plan. The plinths are furnished with recessed fields, volutes and stylised acanthus-leaf and flower motifs.
