Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 8: HONDENHOK.
Op het voorplein van kasteel Biljoen staat een laat-19de-eeuws HONDENHOK op 9-hoekige plattegrond met een bakstenen fundament in visgraatpatroon. Het hok heeft een ijzeren frame van staanders met centraal een rondhouten stijl en wordt door een overstekend rieten tentdak overkapt. Op de kap een pinakel. De wanden en scheidingswanden zijn van gaas. Het hok bestaat uit drie delen, ieder met een eigen ingang, in ieder deel een thans lichtgrijs geschilderde liggende wijnvaten met voor de open zijde een zachtgeel geschilderde pilasters en fronton.

Het HONDENHOK behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Biljoen is van algemeen belang:

Description of component 8: KENNEL.
On the forecourt of castle Biljoen stands a late-19th-century KENNEL on a nine-sided plan with a brick foundation in herringbone pattern. The kennel has an iron frame of posts with centrally a round timber post and is covered by an overhanging thatched tent roof. On the roof a pinnacle. The walls and dividing walls are of wire mesh. The kennel consists of three parts, each with its own entrance, in each part a now light grey-painted horizontal wine barrel with for the open side soft yellow-painted pilasters and pediment.
