Inleiding:
De tankversperring is een onderdeel van de Grebbelinie. Deze versperring is aangelegd tijdens de mobilisatie van 1939-1940 en bevindt zich op de op de Coelhorsterkade, een keerkade op 275 meter ten oosten van het deel van de Liniedijk tussen het Werk bij Krachtwijk en de brug over de Eem bij de Bunschoterweg in de gemeente Amersfoort.
Omschrijving:
In 1939-1940 aangelegd VERDEDIGINGSWERK, bestaande uit een betonnen tankversperring. De versperring is gebouwd in het kader van de versterking van de Valleistelling.
Het betreft hier een Nederlandse tankversperring met een constructie van gewapend beton, bestaande uit een funderingsraam van twee - onderling verbonden- profielen op de kruin van de kade. Op het raamwerk staan aan de noordwestzijde 2 rijen van elk 5 drakentanden en aan de zuidwestzijde 2 rijen van elk 4 drakentanden. Het raamwerk heeft een oppervlakte van 13,0 bij 3 meter met een profieldikte van 0,5 bij 0,5 meter. De onderlinge afstand tussen de profielen is 2 meter en tussen de drakentanden 89 centimeter. De drakentanden hebben een breedte van 0,5 meter naar boven toe taps toelopend tot 0,35 meter. De hoogte van de drakentanden is 0,85 meter.
